We would like to inform you of an important update regarding the departure and return base of your charter with Athenian Yachts.
As part of our preparation for the upcoming season and with the aim of enhancing the overall experience of our guests, please note that from the new season onwards, our bareboat base will be relocated from Alimos Marina to the Port of Nea Peramos, west of Athens. This information applies to:
- guests who already have a confirmed booking, as well as
- guests who will be making a new booking for the upcoming season.
This decision has been carefully taken to ensure a smoother, more comfortable and better-organized start and end to your sailing holiday.
Why Nea Peramos?
Nea Peramos offers a calmer and more functional environment compared to busy city marinas, while still providing immediate access to the Saronic Gulf. You can expect:
- Direct access to the Saronic Gulf
- A relaxed and efficient check-in / check-out process
- Our offices located directly opposite the dock
- Comfortable shaded waiting areas
- Easy access and ample parking
- Cafés, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance
- A quieter and cleaner base, ideal for a stress-free holiday start
How to reach Nea Peramos
Nea Peramos is easily accessible by road:
- Approximately 45–50 minutes from Athens International Airport
- Approximately 40 minutes from central Athens, outside peak hours
For your convenience, private transfers can be arranged from the airport, your hotel, or the city center upon request.
Ideal starting point for the Saronic Gulf
Nea Peramos is an excellent base for sailing in the Saronic Gulf, with easy access to popular destinations such as:
Aegina, Agistri, Poros, Hydra and Spetses.
During the upcoming period, extensive construction works are expected to take place at Alimos Marina. By relocating our base, we ensure that your holiday begins and ends in a calm, well-organized environment, without unnecessary inconvenience.
