Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440

The yacht is the version with three cabins and two bathrooms and the large engine with 57hp (Yanmar 4JH57-CR with propeller shaft). It is equipped with Performance-sails from Elvstrom including mainsail, genoa and Code 0. All sails were originally delivered with the yacht and are in very good condition. The mainsail was inspected, cleaned and repaired by a sailmaker in the summer of 2024 and is equipped with a brand new lazybag. A brand-new sprayhood, bimini and extension between sprayhood and bimini will be delivered with the boat to allow for creating shadow in the entire cockpit. All maintenance has been performed timely and according to the book. Engine running hours will show approx. 550 following the 2024 season. The engine received its first 50 hours service by a specialist, followed by a full annual service by the owner every autumn (documented), when engine oil and filter, two diesel filters as well as other service items have been covered. Gear oil, impeller and cooling fluid has been replaced approx. every two years. The exterior has been washed and polished on a regular basis. The owner has installed an electric oil suction pump for easier replacement of engine and gear oil. In 2024, the hinges on the bathing platform were replaced with the new type in stainless steel (was originally made of plastic which proved too fragile). Also in 2024, a specialist has replaced the main compressor for the fridge, including refilling of new refrigerant. Below the water line, the hull has been treated with four layers of Coppercoat (2022), which only requires flushing and the occasional reactivation with light sanding to remain effective. Should last several seasons as the yacht has been stored on land since its application when not in use.
